Stephen D. Peck

Mr. Peck has had a distinguished career incorporating both financial and administrative positions. His most rewarding accomplishments were performed while working for Phillips Publishing International as executive vice president and chief financial officer, where he was instrumental in helping to grow this organization from $12 million in sales to over $200 million in just ten years while simultaneously increasing profits over 15 times. He was responsible for not only the finance and accounting functions but also with customer service, order processing and the printing and mailing division. He was instrumental in achieving new banking relations; new legal guidance as well as bringing in a leading accounting firm that helped the growth of the company.

Following his career at Phillips, Mr. Peck was brought into American Mobile Satellite Corp. (NASDAQ: SKYC) to help maintain sufficient liquidity in order to place a highly successful bond offering through Bear Stearns and The Bank of America. This was a $330 million offering, which was over-subscribed during a productive period in the markets.

Mr. Peck is now teamed with one of Washington's leading businessmen where he is investing in small start-up companies, which require not only capital but also management direction.

Mr. Peck is a Midwestern native with roots in Ohio where he attended both Ohio State University and the University of Cincinnati. He is the founder of the Family Cancer Institute and co-founder of Men Against Breast Cancer; he also sits on the board of the Gloria Heyison Breast Cancer Foundation. He is active physically and has trained for tri-athelons.
