The LGBT Cancer Project is the first program in the country to address the needs of all lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender cancer survivors and those at risk. We offer information and resources for LGBT survivors and training for health care providers in working with this population. Gay men with prostate cancer face some unique challenges and often are uncomfortable speaking openly with their oncologists about their needs.
